12:59 also just wanted to wish very
13:00 happy birthday. We have a
13:04 bunch of OCTOBER birthdays on
13:06 City Council to Councilmember
13:07 Watson and that Councilmember
13:08 Sandoval who are both this
13:09 week. So happy birthday. You
13:11 guys. Thanks. And happy
13:12 birthday to you because you
13:14 also have a birthday this
13:16 week. So it was last week, but
13:18 thanks. Okay. Happy birthday.
13:19 Last week. We're going just
13:21 keep on enjoying Any other
13:22 announcements? I think we're
13:27 good. Tonight. We have the
13:30 Denver Colfax Marathon
13:32 government relay
13:34 presentations. So let's
13:34 welcome Andrea Dowdy at the
13:41 Colfax Marathon these cannot.
13:42 Good morning Council Chris
13:45 Herndon and I've stood here in
13:45 several different capacities
13:46 today. I'm standing. Here is
13:47 the board chair of the Colfax
13:49 Marathon. So we do have 3
13:50 slides that we don't talk
13:52 about the Colfax marathon
13:54 about you. But I want to talk
13:54 about 2 things before we do
13:56 that. And one is the
13:56 importance of this body before
13:58 me. City Council. So we have
13:59 been doing the Colfax Marathon
14:01 for 20 years and we have a
14:04 small but mighty Ford. And
14:05 when I say when you are very
14:07 familiar with the different
14:08 boards there, some board, you
14:09 kind of sit there and a
14:11 o'Neill capacity. Colfax
14:13 Marathon is a working board
14:13 and Denver City Council has
14:14 had a seat at this board for
14:16 the past 20 years. And it's
14:18 been vital because this
14:20 position helps the board
14:21 members a team and we are ceo
14:23 get through the bureaucracy
14:23 that I'm surprisingly happens
14:25 every now and then in
14:27 government as well as finding
14:30 sponsors to help support this
14:31 marathon is not cheap to run a
14:32 marathon weekend as well as
14:33 just helping navigate
14:35 challenges. And I want to take
14:38 a moment to acknowledge 20
14:38 years of city council
14:39 membership on the city Council
14:42 on the Colfax Marathon board.
14:44 Starting first with
14:45 COUNCILWOMAN Jamie Raab who I
14:48 call with the original did
14:49 this. I don't think on some
14:49 right to refer to it as
14:50 perfect But she was council
14:52 district 10, which he served.
14:54 I was I was with her successor
14:54 doing that for a few years
14:58 after me was jolon clark and
14:59 then now we currently have
15:00 Councilmember Watson on. So I
15:01 want to thank all the council
15:02 members who have sounds bored
15:05 because it is a heavy lift. We
15:06 know how busy you are and
15:06 thank you for your efforts to
15:07 ensuring that we have another
15:10 successful marathon weekend.
15:12 And then the second thing I
15:13 want to talk about was our
15:14 second. And then if you are on
15:15 a whereas we have these
15:17 beautiful kids come in, they
15:18 got going And that was our 5 k
15:19 on the runway. We did this in
15:23 last month's SEPTEMBER. It's
15:27 sold out and 6 hours, which is
15:28 unheard of when it comes to
15:29 the race industry, you post
15:31 and we do and 6 hours and we
15:32 had 2500 runners thankful for
15:35 our sponsors who made that
15:36 happen. And the winning time
15:38 for our 5 k was 14 minutes.
15:42 And 53 seconds, which is a sub
15:43 5 minute mile. I don't even
15:44 buy that Trask. So thank you
15:45 to all that have been a part
15:47 of it. We're grateful we hope
15:50 to see you out for I know it's
15:51 just council term is coming to
15:51 an end, but we are here for
